The Whispering Woods is a thick, rooted forest with tall, dark trees and twisting branches intertwining with each other. Outside of the very few clearings, there is no light that breaks through the trees, and perpetual darkness is home to many monsters.

No one knows where Newt came from or why they seem to roam the forest, but travelers are grateful for them either way. Newt is often found resting in fairy circles made up of the same mushrooms that appear on their body.

Newt speaks with a gentle reassurance and helps guide the lost to safety.
