How to change your avatar / avatar border/ username / profile information / password / email address
You can edit key information regarding your account via settings Click your username in the top right of the navbar to display the dropdown. On mobile, tap the hamburger icon (3 horizontal lines).
How to transfer stardust to another user
There are two options for transfers depending on the level of security you would like!
1. Directly via your bank! This immediately debits the stardust from your bank and credits it to the recipient you select. 
2. Via a trade! Click 'Submit' then 'Trades' in the top nav to access the trade menu. Both users will need to approve the trade before any exchange occurs - this option can be ideal if you are trading currency, items or characters with another user and want an extra level of protection.
How to transfer an item to another user
The same as with stardust, you can transfer items directly or via a trade (please see above)!
If transferring directly from your Inventory click the item you would like to transfer to bring up the below window. Check the box under source to select the item and click the 'Transfer item' dropdown to the input the user you would like to transfer to. Hit transfer and the item will be sent immdiately.
How to transfer a character to another user
Much like currency & items, you can transfer a character to a user via a trade. You can also transfer them directly from their profile!
Head to the profile of the character you would like to transfer, click 'Settings' in the navigation menu to the left and click transfer.
