Terms of Service
Magii are a closed species and community created & owned by phos. You cannot make your own (free, paid or otherwise) without explicit permission. You do not need a Magii character to participate in our species community, however only official characters may be used for our species events and activities.
Please note that by accessing our spaces and purchasing, trading or otherwise receiving a Magii character means you automatically agree to these terms.
Major or repeated violation of our terms will result in blacklisting and voiding of all Magii characters and ARPG content owned.
Rules & User Conduct
✦ All users must be 13+ to participate in this species. Therefore, please keep all content PG-13. This means that while themes such as gore, body horror, violence, etc are permitted so long as they are not excessive, realistic and persistent, such content must be appropriately censored and marked with trigger warnings. NSFW is not permitted in any of our spaces. Swearing is tolerated, though please keep it to a minimum and avoid overly foul language.
While we encourage freedom when it comes to developing your characters, we appreciate some character backstories may touch upon topics we do not permit in our spaces. In these instances we ask that you do not share artwork or writing of such nature in our community spaces. On first instances the creator or poster will receive a warning before being removed for subsequent offences.
✦ Please be respectful and considerate to your fellow users and staff. If you have any issues with a user or staff please open a ticket. If your concern regards a staff member and you wish to discuss the matter privately, please contact phos.
✦ All submissions must be your own - we do not tolerate theft, tracing or AI generated artwork.
Designs, Items & Ownership
✦ Magii cannot be designed to be based off existing copyrighted property.
✦ You are not allowed to directly edit the original art of a character to reflect new design changes unless explicit permission is given by the original artist/designer.
✦ Characters obtained for free through raffles or events are not allowed to be resold unless personal or commissioned art is added.
✦ Designs and items purchased for species currency do not have a monetary equivalent/bv so cannot be resold.
✦ You may void a Magii character at any time by contacting us. This removes the species association from the character and means it is no longer bound by our species rules, just the TOS of the designer.
Though Magii is a closed species, we do not gatekeep traits. You are welcome to create similar characters, we only ask that you do not associate them with the species name and world.
THE FOLLOWING CONDUCT VIOLATES OUR GUIDELINES AND WOULD BE SUBJECT TO WARNINGS, STRIKES, OR BANS, DEPENDING ON THE SEVERITY OF THE SITUATION:
- Perpetuating pedophillia, zoophilia, racism, nazism, sexism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, and any other hateful remarks inside or outside of the group. Bigots are not welcome in our community.
- Being rude to, bullying, or harassing users in the Discord server, or on other social media. If there is a concern with a user that cannot be solved with blocking, please open a ticket or contact a staff member. Note: We require proof of instances of breaking TOS, and cannot go off of "good faith" statements. Please provide (to the best of your ability) transcripts, screenshots, or any other relevant information.
- Name-dropping or publicly gossiping about an individual, even if not present, to stir up drama
- Discussing rumours, scandals, or malicous/negative situations involving other species, closed or otherwise, including the community, designs, or owners of those species in the Discord server is prohibited.
- Guilt-tripping, whining, or complaining about adoptable or artwork prices. Do not beg, guilt, or harass members or staff to try to gain characters, items, currency, or artwork. Magii characters are an artist-made luxury item, not a necessity.
- Creating off-brand Magii characters to sell, or copying an existing Magii character’s design and selling it as a different species.
- Scamming another user by attempting to sell or trade a character that does not belong to you, selling a character you obtained for free with no extra art, or accepting money but not transferring the design to the buyer.
- Creating multiple accounts to obtain on-site currency/items, to participate in sales and raffles, or other means to profit off of the species will result in an immediate permanent ban from the Species.
